Federico & Giada | From the Eternity of Rome to the Breath of the Sea
There are days when love isn’t just celebrated, but felt in every fragment of light. Federico and Giada’s wedding was a profound journey—a tapestry of emotions that seamlessly wove together the classical elegance of the Capital with the untamed freedom of the Roman coast.
The Anticipation: Between Modern Elegance and Roots
The story began in two locations filled with contrasting yet complementary meanings. Giada chose the refined light of a boutique hotel in the heart of Rome for her preparations—a moment of stillness and suspended beauty. Federico, meanwhile, experienced the anticipation at his grandfather’s home, a place thick with memories and family legacy. Photographing these moments means documenting the truth of one’s heritage: on one side, sophisticated refinement; on the other, the raw emotion of a story that spans generations.
The “I Do”: A Civil Ceremony in Rome
The promises were exchanged during a civil ceremony in Rome. The solemnity of the city’s institutional halls stood in beautiful contrast to Federico and Giada’s spontaneity, their love filling the space with a vibrant energy. It is in these settings that my Fine Art approach finds its highest expression, capturing authentic emotion amidst the historic marbles of the Eternal City.
A Couple’s Session in Two Acts: Villa Celimontana and the Sea
For their portraits, we envisioned a story told in two chapters:
The Elegance of Time: The first part unfolded at Villa Celimontana, wandering through tree-lined avenues and the charm of the famous Gothic Temple. Here, the light filtering through the greenery created a fairytale, timeless atmosphere.
The Freedom of Water: We then moved to Fiumicino for a truly unique session on a boat. Being cradled by the movement of the water as the sun dipped toward the horizon gifted us with shots full of dynamism and freedom—a true anthem to their new life together.
Celebration Under the Stars at Docking9
The day concluded with an al fresco reception. The space at Docking9 in Fiumicino was transformed into an enchanted lounge for dinner and festivities. From moving speeches under the first stars to high-energy dancing, every moment was lived with vibrant energy. Watching the guests dance surrounded by the sea breeze and the coastal charm was the perfect ending to a story made of beauty and authentic joy.
