Andrea and Leonora’s wedding was a journey through Rome’s diverse souls: from the rustic and authentic charm of the Casali, to the solemnity of Renaissance monuments, and finally to the exclusive embrace of their own family residence. A photographic narrative where luxury is never flaunted, but lived in every single detail.
Two Souls, Two Sceneries: The Anticipation
The preparations told two different yet complementary stories. Andrea chose the stunning setting of Casali del Pino, surrounded by the warmth of friends and family in a relaxed, bucolic atmosphere—perfect for softening the emotions before the big step. Leonora, on the other hand, experienced her wait in the heart of the Family Residence, within the walls that hold her most cherished memories. Photographing her in this context allowed me to capture a natural elegance—a privilege that only the sense of belonging to such a place can bestow.
The “I Do” and the Rome of Popes: The Tempietto and the Fontanone
Following the civil ceremony, we headed to the Gianicolo hill for a couple’s session with an editorial flair. We chose Bramante’s Tempietto, a jewel of Renaissance architecture, for timeless portraits, before letting ourselves be enchanted by the majesty of the Fontana dell’Acqua Paola. With Rome at their feet and the sound of flowing water as their soundtrack, Andrea and Leonora walked through history, gifting me with shots full of poetry and purest light.
The Reception: An “Al Fresco” Lunch and the Warmth of the Speeches
Upon returning to the family estate, the garden became the beating heart of the celebration. The outdoor lunch, organized among the tree-lined paths, transformed the reception into an elite convivial gathering. The moment of the speeches was the most vibrant: words filled with affection that made the atmosphere intimate and profound, highlighting once again how choosing “home” was the key to such an authentic event.
The Party and the Final Spectacle
As the twilight faded into night, the party ignited with pure energy. But the most emotional moment arrived as a surprise: an incredible fireworks display requested by the bride’s father. Watching the sky above the villa light up in celebration was the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable day—a luminous tribute to a love born and celebrated amidst the family’s roots.
